“Life takes it out of you; massage puts it back”
Massage was my first encounter with the art of healing touch, and here is an episode from the distant past, my Thames TV series from the ’80’s!
Over time, my massage has become much more like Shiatsu, with the addition of the fragrant and rhythmic possibilities offered by oil. (I use only pure essential oils in my massage.)
The meridians are the focus of my massage now, whether treated with familiar massage strokes or more specialised ones of my own devising; I use my elbows to give deeper pressure where needed and incorporate acupuncture points as well. I love to give careful attention to the face and head, which are often omitted from massage. The result is a powerful and deeply relaxing treatment.
